Hurricane

Well, we're going to feel some effects of "Gustav" this week, starting as early as tonite. Arkansas is already feeling it, and we're to get 5-plus inches of rain between tonight and Thursday. He's going to go straight north, then stall over us, when he collides with the cold front coming in. Should be exciting.

I remember in the late summer of 1992 we were in Alabama, and the remnants of hurricane Andrew came through. I'd never seen rain like that in my life! Super-heavy downpour for 2-plus days. Never let up.
