1618: Sir Walter Raleigh Executed

1929: Stock Market crashes

1948: Killer smog claims elderly victims, continuing to hover over Donora, Pennsylvania. Over a five-day period, the smog killed about 20 people and made thousands more seriously ill.

Wait a minute, I think the 'stock market crashed' today, not in 1929.

Off to school for 'Book Character Day' ~ which is the same as a Halloween Party except that they don't dare call it that.
