Fished Castle Rock for the first time this past weekend. I got and installed the "I-Pilot", it worked beyond my wildest dreams. We fished from about 10 am. till; about 3pm. Trolling with Rapalas and Crawler Harnesses. Sarah Navigated while Lynn and I took turns on the fish. Result: 10 Walleyes, 6 White Bass, 6 large Crappies and one Catfish (on a Rapala). Lynn caught the the biggest Walleye and the Catfish. The dog weighs 13 pounds, I'm guessing that was an 8 or 9 lb. or possibly even a 10 pounder....... Heading back up this weekend to try to improve on what we did/learned.
This is significant for me as I have not been doing very well trying to learn how to fish the Wisconsin River. Hopefully I've turned the corner and this is the begining of a trend. Wish me luck......
